TAJ Technologies, Inc. is hiring a CISCO NETWORK/WINTEL ENGINEER to support our client, a leader in the Loyalty Management industry.

Job Responsibilities:
Looking for that high-energy, driven, process-oriented Linux engineer with an architectural flare yet. 
Responsibilities/Relationships:
? Performs requirements gathering, analysis (including capacity), design, and implementation of Cisco Juniper network solutions to meet current and future business requirements as applicable to the project integration activities.
? Drive and document deliverables to meet project deadlines and milestones.
? Work with external vendors to update firewall, DNS, routing policies and network configurations on systems in support of network integrations and application migrations.
? Deliver technical documents (architecture diagrams), and perform production turn-over to operational support teams.
? Adhere to existing change management and engagement procedures as required to meet project deadlines and objectives.
? Assist technical teams with application migrations (network ports protocols, firewall rule updates, traffic analysis) as needed for approximately 75 applications.
? Proactively bringing ideas to the table that allow for efficiencies, long-term supportability.
? Provide high-level strategies for how to manage new firewall rule sets (firewall groups, etc.), as well as tracking and managing project-related clean-up.
? Build collaborative relationships throughout the IT (development, operations, engineering, project management, and application architecture) departments, and throughout the business.
 
Required Skills / Experience:
? Bachelor Degree, with a technology or business emphasis, or equivalent education/experience.
? 7+ years of Cisco Network engineering and administration (including monitoring, scaling, troubleshooting, tuning routers, firewalls, switches, load balancers, IPSec VPN B2B VPN tunnel configuration)
? 5+ years of Application-focused network administration, preferably with Windows-based (.Net IIS SQL) platforms
? 5+ years of high-volume public-facing, 100%-uptime (SLA-based) web tier network administration and engineering
? Strong work ethic, follow-through, detail-orientation, prioritization, and the ability to work with minimal supervision through project goals
? Experience with financial audit controls such as PCI, SSAE-16, SAS-70
? Experience working with large-scale 3rd party hosting providers and vendors
? Excellent written and verbal skills: ability to clearly communicate milestones, project goals and requirements with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a timely manner while meeting project deadlines
? Strong Analytical/Troubleshooting skills
 
Preferred Qualifications (Not all are required):
? CCNE CCNA or equivalent network certifications
? 10+ years of Cisco system administration experience, exposure to Juniper and Checkpoint
? Exposure to F5 load balancing (hands-on preferred)
? Managing network capacity planning and scaling models
? Experience creating and maintaining Systems Architecture Diagrams, Process Documentation
? Prior experience in an application support role, understanding various application and network integration points with proven ability to troubleshoot, isolate and address issues
? Engineering, architectural, and support experience of enterprise networks and systems in an HA configuration (using BGP, etc.)
